The festival itself, hosted by Brookline High School will be on May 13th between 12 noon and 4 pm providing energizing taiko drumming with groups from all over New England, live music, food vendors, dance and other entertainment. The school itself was gifted a number of cherry trees in 2012 by the consul general of Japan in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the cherry trees gifted by Japan to Washington DC in 1912.
