8 Best Thanksgiving Parades and Festivals in and around Boston, 2017

Bostonians have the rare opportunity to attend a Thanksgiving parade where it all started 400 years ago – rated the best Thanksgiving parade in the US for its authenticity, then there are the Turkey Trots, fairs, and amazing light shows making for a fun-filled and eventful Thanksgiving.

1. Castleberry Fair


Around 300 booths at this Art and Craft Fair have original art, fine jewelry, pottery, metal sculpture, stained glass and more. No cheap imports or mass manufactured goods here. There will be food vendors with holiday fare. A good place to spend a couple of hours.

When: Friday, November 24th, 2017 9 am to 5 pm, Saturday, November 25th, 2017 1 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, November 26th, 2017 10 am to 5 pm.
