9 Best Thanksgiving Parades and Festivals around Houston, 2017

1. Houston Thanksgiving Parade HEB

It is best to buy your tickets online now and get to your seat early, as there will be heavy traffic. The pre-parade entertainment starts at 8 am and the parade itself with the floats, gigantic balloons, marching bands, entertainers and more moves off at 9 am. Children need a ticket unless they are in a carrier or on an adult’s lap for the seated area but otherwise just bring down a blanket or lawn chairs so you can watch all the festivities along the route in comfort. There will be food trucks and vendors along the parade route.

When: Thursday, November 23th, 2017 from 9 am.

Where: The parade begins at 9:00 am on Smith at Lamar, north to Walker, east to Milam, south to Pease, west to Louisiana, north to Clay, west to Smith, and north to end at Smith and Dallas.
