1. Riverwalk Holiday River Parade

The event starts with the Christmas Music Concert at Arneson River Theatre, and then the lighting of the Riverwalk takes place from the Arneson Theatre Stage when 1.4 million lights will illuminate the area alongside the river. The parade follows with 25 beautifully decorated and lighted River Barges that make a loop through Rivercenter Mall and the Convention Center and double back through most of the parade route. There are a number of free viewing areas on the parade route. Space is available on a first come, space available, basis. The areas are: The North side of the River Walk between Lexington Ave. and Richmond Ave; the south side of the River Walk between Richmond Ave. and Navarro St; the south side of the River Walk between Navarro St. and N. St. Mary’s St.

Cost: Arneson River Theatre: Floor seats $40, Grandstand seats — $30, Top level seats — $20. Anywhere else on the parade route — Front Row $25. Other seating $20 and $15. Children 2 years of age and above must have a ticket. Children younger than 2 years old, without a ticket, must sit on a parent’s lap.
