8 Best Thanksgiving Parades and Festivals around San Francisco, 2017

1. San Francisco Turkey Trot

The course is mostly flat over grassy meadows, dirt pathways and trails. If participating you should be comfortable with grass and off-road terrain. The 5 Mile Turkey Trail Trot is a RUN and the 3 Mile Pilgrim Promenade a WALK, then there’s the 100 Meters Kid’s Gobbler Chase where kids can run, walk stumble – whatever as long as they get to the finish line! The organizers only take 1,400 entrants so if you are keen to get cracking on entering.

When: Thursday, November 23th, 2017 from 8 am onwards.

Cost: $38 per person for the 5-mile Turkey Trail Trot or 3-mile Pilgrim Promenade. The Kids’ Gobbler Chase of 100 meters is free for kids of registered adults and is open to kids aged 10 and under.
