10 Smaller Amusement Parks Around Los Angeles You Probably Never Heard Of

Smaller parks mean less time hunting for kids as they are apt to vanish into the melee of bodies all bent on having the “best summer day ever”. We have included some quite small parks where tiny tots will feel comfortable and a few that offer more for older kids. And even though some, like Universal Studios, are huge places the actual amusement park rides on offer are fairly limited.

1. Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal

The rides and attractions here are all based on blockbuster movies allowing kids to enter a magic zone where their imaginations can run free. The $119 season pass means kids can return for 174 days of the season and that includes 42 weekend days. The rides are movie themed – so enter the world of Harry Potter for some Hogwarts wizard experiences, battle the baddies in Transformers or accompany the minions on Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.
