10 Smaller Amusement Parks Around New York City That you Never Heard About

1. Luna Park Coney Island

For extreme thrills tweens and teens will want to try the Coney Island Cyclone or the Thunderbolt Roller Coaster, the Slingshot or the Coney Island Raceway. Very young kids may be happier with the mild rides such as the Mermaid Parade, Brooklyn barge or B&B Carousel. Of course there are a whole lot of other rides between extreme and mild. Currently a 4 hour unlimited ride wristband costs $35 and allows access to 22 rides, but the extreme rides and carousel are not included in this offer and wristbands can only be redeemed until 6pm. There are a number of options involving purchasing cards or wristbands online which are valid until the park closes on 30th October.
