The Fair has been an institution since 1820 with the first cattle show and has grown since then to include the giant pumpkin weigh-off, pig races (the prize is an Oreo cookie!), a petting zoo, the kiddies corral and plenty to eat and drink. This year don’t miss The Dock Dogs – adorable canines whose show is a treat to watch. Moto Maniacs will be there all week long with motorcycle stunts and acrobatics that will have your jaw dropping. Then for more crazy action, there’s the Monster Truck Show on Saturday 30th (Tickets $15 -$20 over and above fair admission). The Baha Brothers band will be performing, as will the Reminisants, then don’t miss the Village People performance on October 5th, or Peter Noone and Herman’s Hermits. There’s so much to see – the Flying Wallendas and the Demolition Derby and more.
