15 Best Santa Events in New York City

Santa is the most popular man of the season! All kids want is to get up close and chat to him, so we have rounded up some of the best events, from cruises, to store displays, breakfasts and train rides to provide a variety of experiences for little and not-so-little ones.

Macy’s Santaland

About: Catch the man in red with the little ones, while they still believe in the magic of Christmas – and they surely will believe as they enter the magical world that Macy’s creates each year. This year the 8th floor is transformed for the holidays into 13,000 square feet of fun – igloos, an ice rink, Santa’s sleigh and his reindeer, the Domino Sugar Bake Shoppe spilling over with gingerbread men, a rainbow bridge and of course toys galore. For the first time you need to reserve a time slot to visit Santaland – this means less queuing time. The new online system replaces the Express Pass of previous years.

When: Until Sunday, December 24th, 2017

Where: Macy’s Herald Square, 151 W. 34th Street, New York, NY, 10001

Cost: Free to reserve a Santa visit. Optional professional photo packages cost $20.99.
