Take the kids along to be awestruck by the two million twinkling lights and 15 000 ornaments a number of huge Christmas trees and more during Lone Star Christmas. The resort, set on the shore of Lake Grapevine, is picture perfect with all its festive décor. Kids will enjoy ICE – the resort carts with tons of ice to make ice sculptures. An eight-lane snow-tubing hill is also created where kids can race downhill. Get out onto the ice at the ice-skating rink or visit the Santa Snowball Throwing Workshop where kids get to make snowballs and try their accuracy at hitting targets – not each other. There’s a gingerbread decorating corner where kids can decorate a gingerbread cookie family or make a gingerbread house – they buy the kit and will be instructed through the process – and they get to hug the life-size gingerbread man. Cookies & Milk with Mrs. Claus is a quiet time where they get to listen to Mrs. Claus read stories while they sip and nibble. There is also The Elf on the Shelf® Scavenger Hunt and other events.
