15 Bucket List Places In and Around Phoenix To See With Kids

Desert Botanical Garden Las Noches De Las Luminarias

For magical evenings in December, the eight thousand hand-lit luminarias combined with a twinkling lights display will set the gardens aglow, creating a desert wonderland that is starkly beautiful. There will be nine different ensembles to provide live music nightly at various venues in the 140-acre park. Enjoy a meal at the gardens watching the sunset over the red desert sands, stroll the illuminated gardens with some hot cocoa or a cup of cider and appreciate the various musical offerings from a classical crossover to world fusion, mariachi, and flamenco guitar and dance, among others. If you aren’t in Phoenix in December a visit to the Desert Botanical Gardens is good anytime to see the indigenous plants at this venue and appreciate their architectural beauty.
