Boston’s holiday decorations generally go for class and elegance and there a number to view in public places as well as some over-the-top crazy decorations that will have kids amazed. There is something to please everyone this year. Keeps kids safe and warm and enjoy the festivities.

Blink! — Faneuil Hall Marketplace

This is the fourth year that Blink will be transforming the open Faneuil Hall Marketplace for the holiday season with its 350,000 odd LED lights choreographed to the music of the Holiday Pops. There are five shows each night so there is no excuse for missing out on what has become one of the most popular winter holiday attractions in Boston. The whole marketplace is lit up – come by for the show and the massive Christmas Tree with all its decorations, do some holiday shopping and pause for a cup of hot cocoa.

When: November 20th – January 1st. The first show starts on the Main Tree at Marketplace Center and on the trees in South Market at 4:30 pm and runs every hour on the half hour. The North Market show begins at 5:00 pm and runs every hour on the hour.
