The Legal Harborside is an iconic restaurant in Boston with iconic views of the Boston Harbor. It’s enormous with three floors, each one with a different theme and menu. The first floor is casual, has a huge circular bar inside and a patio outside overlooking the harbor. The food here is casual, fish and chips, mussel pots or lobster rolls (it’s all seasonal) with beer on tap. The second floor is a little more formal and intimate, better for date night or family occasions. The menu too is a bit more formal and upscale too, with astonishing seafood prepared in an astonishing way. And the third floor is the rooftop deck, open all year round, serving cocktails and small bites. Each floor holds something special and in fact just visiting Legal Harborside is an experience! The restaurant is in the Seaport District, close to the World Trade Centre, Institute of Contemporary Art and the Legal Test Kitchen. It’s divine! You don’t need to book but it is advisable, especially in summer.

You’ll find Aragosta in the Battery Wharf Hotel in the historic north end of Boston. It’s an elegant waterfront restaurant with delicious seafood and steak on the menu. Joseph Adamo is the executive chef and he has a flair for the unusual. He takes traditional New England food and adds something a little Mediterranean. Think traditional short rib with divine Italian hand made potato gnocchi. Or freshly caught lobster in a New England bourride. There is a beautiful and breezy open-air terrace overlooking the water and you can dine with the breathtaking backdrop of the Boston harbor behind you. They’re open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Excellent wine list and lovely cocktails too. Book in advance especially if you’re a big party. It’s really in a beautiful setting.
