Teen Digital Media Lab is a series of free design jams just for teens at the Museum of The Moving Image, 36-01 35th Avenue, Queens, New York 11106 on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
In this week’s session: Inspired by New York City, Martin Scorsese has made many films that take place right in our backyard. We will look at some of his work and create a stop motion animation of city landscapes. These events are a unique opportunity to get exclusive access to the Museum, to share in your favorite kinds of media-making, or to experiment with something new. You can work with everything from vintage arcade games to web-based hacking tools as we explore the Museum’s collection in fun and innovative ways. All levels of experience are welcome. Plus, there’s pizza. Teen Digital Media Lab is a drop-in program; no advance registration is required. Just show up! For teens ages 14 and up.
