Wine Down

Friday, July 7th, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Bagby Park, 415 Gray St, Houston.
Contact Form: http://houstonmidtown.com/newsroom/contact/

Why wind down when you can “wine” down? In our books, this sounds like the ultimate way to wind down from the busy work week with some great music and happy hour specials at Rico’s Morning Noon Night. This super chill event features food, wine, craft beer, and frozen sake (which sounds delicious). The monthly happy hour programming is going down in Bagby Park, home of the giant Midtown sign, so you can’t miss it. On top of everything else, this event is free to attend. Awesome, right? Of course, drinks and food are available for purchase.

Youth Performance Poetry

Friday, July 7th, 2017 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Levy Park Conservancy, 3801 Eastside, Houston.
Phone: (713) 522-7275

Do you have poets living under your roof? Bring out the kids to enjoy this open mic where young writers can craft original poems, meet other young writers and work with professional performance poets to explore their creative voices at Levy Park!
