Step in with kids so they can try their hands on this workshop, work with your child and help build a cute coin bank with a fire station design. After you build the bank, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All kids get to keep the project designed by them and they will also receive a free certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. It is important that kids must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin. Suitable for kids of the age 5 – 12, the entry is free.

Aquarium of the Pacific Kids Fun Run

Now your kids can participate in the kids fun run at JetBlue Long Beach Marathon, Long Beach, California from Saturday, October 7th, 2017 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The Aquarium of the Pacific Kids Fun Run is now open to the public for free. Kids who are interested can participate in a free one-mile run that starts and ends in front of the Aquarium of the Pacific. The Aquarium’s talking cockatoo Lola serves as Grand Marshall, and costumed characters attracting kids like the sea otter, ray and shark will cheer for the runners. They recommend kids to dress in blue or as their favorite marine creature. Runners receive a Finisher’s Medal, a Numerical Bib, and a Finisher’s Certificate. So hurry and enroll your kid who is 12 years old and under child to participate in the 1-mile fun run. As space is limited only first 2,000 participants who register can take part. Kids of the age 5-12 can take part in the contest for free.

CicLAvia – Heart of LA

Get ready set go for the annual Heart of LA Route as CicLAvia returns to Chinatown, DTLA, Echo Park and Boyle Heights. The streets will be closed by CicLAvia no cars can enter and it will be open for cyclists, pedestrians, runners and skaters to use as a recreational space. CicLAvia is free and open to all and CicLAvia kicks off at 9:00 am and winds by 4:00 pm. CicLAvia is not a race, hence there is nothing to worry there’s no starting point or finish line. You can begin where you like and enjoy the day in your style. CicLAvia traffic flows in two directions, just like regular traffic. Kids of all ages can take part here for free.
