Santa HQ Holiday Parade and Toy Drive

Bring the kids and join in for a Festive Holiday Event to Kick-Off the Season.  Together we will officially open the HGTV Santa HQ with a Santa Parade, formal Ribbon Cutting, strolling holiday entertainment, selfie booth, live music, free craft for kids and more! The event will feature Elf-Ray Vision, Naughty-or-Nice ‘O Meter, Holiday Fun Photo Options, free gifts and more. Santa will be available for photos and visits at his Headquarters presented by HGTV, located on Level 2, Center Court. Queens Center will conduct a toy drive to help local organizations serving families and children in need.  Please bring an unwrapped, new toy to the Concierge Desk on Level 3 and help them help underprivileged children in the community enjoy the holiday season. Free to experience, photos cost extra.

Santa HQ Holiday Parade will be held at Queens Center Mall, 9015 Queens Blvd, Queens, NY 11373 on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Farmhouse Family Day

Drop in every third Saturday of the month to New York City’s oldest house together be sure to get there by 1:00 pm for an all-new hands-on making activity each month. The other seasonal activities include exploring the historic house and around the gardens. Involve with your kids in some scavenger hunts, artifact investigation, gardening, self-guided exploration, and hands-on activities. These activities are designed for families with kids ages 4 to 10. It is sure that children must be accompanied by an adult there is no reservation required. Family Day is open for everyone to attend.

This event will take place at Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum in Fidler-Wyckoff House Park, 5816 Clarendon Road, Brooklyn on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Family Art Project: Cornhusk Dolls

Celebrate the season of corn and harvest time along with your family. Step in to listen to Native American tales, and listen all about the power of a talking stick. Then try your hands on a tie, weave and shape dried husks into a single, cornhusk doll or corny doll family. The Harvest Weekend event is suitable for kids of all ages. The admission to the grounds is free until noon.

This is where little dolls can have fun at the Wave Hill House in Wave Hill Accessible, West 249th Street and Independence Avenue, Bronx on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
