ALMA

Alma is in Brooklyn, one of their top restaurants and a real landmark in New York’s restaurant scene. Arrive early to get a seat on the rooftop patio which is open all year and be astonished and amazed at the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River views. The rooftop is made of glass; it’s perfect. Alma is super popular and if you’ve been to Columbia Street’s restaurant row then you’ll be familiar with it. It is a three store building, busy, bustling, dramatic and loads of fun. You can sit at the ground floor bar or the mid-level dining room where you will still see good views, especially of the cargo-loaders below. Tuesdays are taco night but every night you’ll find tacos, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, chuletas, and you must be hungry by now! Make your way over, it’s fab.

This is fine dining at its best so take your credit card too. You’ll have the most amazing cocktails created by Sixty Five’s own mixologist and if you get a table, they have the highest outdoor terrace in New York. The views are astonishing. They open at 5 pm, don’t serve anyone under the age of 21 (sorry about that, teens), have the most delicious light bites and an astonishing dinner menu.
