1 TURKEY TROTS

On your mark, get set, run! The Chase Columbus Turkey trot is a Thanksgiving Day tradition for thousands of families. This year’s event starts at the shops of Lane Avenue and winds its way through the Ohio State University Campus. More than 7,000 runners took part last year. This year, every participant will take home a pumpkin pie from Whole Foods. For the grown-ups, there is a 5-mile run and a 2-mile run. For the kids, there is the kids tot trot 100-yard dash and it’s free for children of registered runners. Kids will get a t-shirt, ribbon and a treat for participating. If you don’t feel like running, you can always line the race course and cheer on the turkey trotters.
