Thomas and Friends Exhibit

The world’s most beloved blue engine has rolled into COSI! Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails! is an interactive exhibit inspired by the popular PBS KIDS children’s series. Explore the Island of Sodor, where you can climb into Thomas’ cab, fix Percy’s wobbly wheels, load luggage, and livestock, and suit up as a conductor. The exhibit incorporates foundational STEM practices that encourage mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and creative thinking. This event is free to attend.

Family Time

Family Storytime is a combination of books, flannel stories, songs, rhymes and sometimes crafts. We include activities that appeal to a wider age range so the whole family can join in on the fun! Engaging children in simple but powerful activities every day help them develop early literacy skills that help them get ready to read. These activities or practices are talking, singing, reading, writing and playing. All of the storytimes are planned using these skills that educate your children in a fun, interactive and effective ways! This event is free to attend.

Fall Fun

Leeds Farm offers the opportunity to select the perfect pumpkin and gourds from the thousands grown at the farm and additionally your family will have an amazing time participating in the farm activities which include: hayrides, big and small zip lines, pedal carts, combine slide, banana bus, the corn box, porch paintball, pig races, straw forts, rolling tubes, pumpkin jumps and more! After all of the playing be sure to grab a meal or homemade treat while you are there! Leeds Farm opens this weekend! Ages 3 through 18 are $12.00, and adults are $10.00.

Why not enjoy a wonderful fall festival as the weather starts to get cooler? Spend a day on the farm and make memories! With over 30 activities, good food and a 10 acre pick your own patch, there is something for everyone. There’s something here for everyone, so bring the kids out and enjoy the farm atmosphere! Admission is $9.00 for adults, $6.00 for kids ages 3 through 17.

Gateway Family Film Series

This Saturday, the Gateway Film Center offers child-friendly short films from around the world, paired with music by the Shazzbots, time for dancing and lobby activities. This month’s theme is pirates, so break out your swords and eyepatches and get ready to have a swashbucklin’ good time. Activities start at 10:00 AM and films at 11:00 AM. This event is free with a suggested donation of canned foods to benefit ‘The Open Shelter’. Seating is limited! Arrive at 10:00 AM to get your free tickets!
