A Christmas Carol

Based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel, this joyous and opulent musical adaptation traces money-hoarding skinflint Ebenezer Scrooge’s triumphant overnight journey to redemption. A Christmas Carol illuminates the meaning of the holiday season in a way that has resonated for generations. Sam Gregory returns in the role of Ebenezer Scrooge with Director Melissa Rain Anderson at the helm of this beloved holiday tradition. The cost of this event is $35+.

Arvada Fair for the Band

This fair showcases the handmade arts and crafts of local artists while supporting the band and color guard programs of Arvada High School. The fair uses a jurying process to insure optimal quality and variety of handmade goods for your holiday shopping. Concessions will be provided by the Band Boosters which include snacks and meals. There will be an interactive craft area set up for children of all ages to make Christmas ornaments in a multitude of mediums as well as children’s entertainers. Additionally there with be student tables for student artists/craftsmen to showcase and sell their own handmade arts and crafts. The cost of this event is $2.

The Nutcracker

Belliston Ballet’s 2017 presents an exciting ‘all youth’ production of The NUTCRACKER. Belliston’s Nutcracker has enthralled audiences with an impressive display of costumes, sets, and dance for over 25 years. While the show is visually entertaining for the entire family, the best part is that this production has a way of gently warming the heart while inspiring its audience to find the magic of the holiday season. The production represents students from throughout the Denver-Metro area, ranging in age from 8 to 18. This experience gives these young people a total theatrical experience through ballet, teaching them the value of interdependence within the community, and offering an affordable yet, surprisingly high-quality performing arts experience to Denver-Metro audiences. The cost of this event is $26 – $32.

The Belliston Academy of Ballet presents The Nutcracker, this Friday, November 24th at 7PM, Saturday, November 25th at 2PM and 7PM, and Sunday November 26th at 1PM located at 2344 East Iliff Avenue, Denver, CO 80208.
