Things To Do In San Francisco This Weekend, Nov 17th – Nov 19th, 2017

2017 Korea Day Festival

The Asian Art Museum‘s Korea Day festival is back for its ninth year celebration with a fun feast of art activities, food, music, and dance at this all-day banquet of Korean Culture. Janchi (feast or banquet) is a traditional way of celebrating birthdays, weddings, and other milestones. Usually, there is an abundance of food, music, and dances throughout the day, and everyone in the neighborhood joins in preparation and feast. Food will be abundant at this janchi, with San Francisco’s famous food trucks serving up Korean tacos and more outside, while Cafe Asia keeps the crowds happy with Asian fusion cuisine inside the museum. There are plenty of great activities to keep everyone entertained, and a Family Gallery Guide with games to play as you explore the special exhibition In Grand Style and Korean art! This event is free to attend.

Friday, November 17th, 2017 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Asian Art Museum, 200 Larkin Street San Francisco.
