Delaware County Fair

This county fair offers plenty of entertainment scheduled for the fair, including concerts, Professor Bubble Maker, Mr. Puppet, Street Players, Abe Lincoln, and Saturday Night Fireworks. You can also enjoy the Demolition Derby, Truck and Tractor Pulls, Motorsports, and more.  You’ll also enjoy the fantastic food stands, exhibitors, and amusement rides. Be sure to check out the Preservation Parks Department booth! A weekly pass is $35.00 each, and all day wristbands for rides are $15.00. Admission is free for those 8 and under, and $6.00 for 9 and up.

Family Time

Family Storytime is a combination of books, flannel stories, songs, rhymes and sometimes crafts. We include activities that appeal to a wider age range so the whole family can join in on the fun! Engaging children in simple but powerful activities every day help them develop early literacy skills that help them get ready to read. These activities or practices are talking, singing, reading, writing and playing. All of the storytimes are planned using these skills that educate your children in a fun, interactive and effective ways! This event is free to attend.

Stuffed Animal Library Adventure

Drop off your stuffed animal friends at the library any time before 6:00 pm on Friday, September 22nd, and leave them with the librarians for a weekend stuffed animal adventure! Then, join them for treats on Sunday afternoon between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm in the library’s Meeting Room. Children will go home with a storybook filled with their friend’s adventures at the library! This event is free to attend.

Fall Fun Day

Welcome the first day of Autumn with the educators at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center! Join us for an evening hike or two, enjoy some tasty snacks, fall into the season with themed crafts and enjoy other of activities. There is no admission fee, though donations are always appreciated.
