Thi Friday, enjoy an evening of knights, unicorns, fairy tales, storytelling, and a little magic! This is one of your last chances to see Art and Nature in the Middle Ages before it closes on Sunday, so hurry up! Activities at this event will include: a Knights-in-Training Family Gallery Quest where you’ll pick up your clue sheet at a Visitor Services Desk, and then visit four secret locations on Level Two to complete your knight training and earn a special prize. Afterwards, you’ll join Dr. Melissa Aaron, Professor in the Department of English and Foreign Languages at Cal Poly Pomona, for a closer look at medieval depictions of mythological beasts and how J. K. Rowling adapted them for her Harry Potter universe. Finally, join a quote-along screening of the 1975 movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail, complete with coconuts and a crown fit for the King of the Britons. This event is $15.00 per person, and is free for kids 11 and younger.
