Join a night of intrigue, deception, and delicious food in this comedic thriller! Bring friends or family, discover clues while trading them with other guests, and solve the mystery before the dinner is finished. This show is best geared for those over 12. Admission is $60.00, or $79.00 for the VIP Package.

Cherokee Basket Weaving

Join Hannah as she guides you through the process of making your own beautiful Cherokee-style double walled basket! These baskets really are something to behold, and not only will you have a blast making one – it’ll also look great in your house afterward! The class is designed for an adult or adult/child activity. There is a limit of 2 children (ages 8 and older) per adult. Admission is $25.00 per person and includes general admission and class materials.

Zumbimba Texas

This free community class offers a brief introduction to the percussion and movement of a Brazilian folkloric dance, and an introduction the movements that are the base of Capoeira Regional. The class ends with a Roda, a celebration of Capoeira Regional and the culture that it comes from. Live instruments, singing, clapping, and playing the game of Capoeira. Capoeira Regional welcomes several guest teachers for a celebration of Brazilian culture, with classes in dance, capoeira, samba, and maculele, and a traditional Brazilian lunch. Bring a few extra bucks to participate in a raffle for a T-shirt, raising money for the next international event. Tentative Schedule: 9:30 am Registration, 10:00 am – Maculele (Profa Amazonas), 11:00 am – Afro-Brazilian Dance (Profa Tiririca), 12:45 pm – Feijoada and Bate-papo/Q&A with teachers, 2:30 pm – Samba de Roda (Dona Nalvinha), and finally at 3:30 pm – Roda de Capoeira Regional. Admission is $25.00 for one workshop or $40.00 for two. Lunch is only $10.00 which includes the meal plus a drink.
