We’re calling out all of your little adventurers! Bring your little adventurers to the First Adventure area for a hands-on, STEAM-related experiences with new stories, songs, crafts and more. Friday’s theme is “M for Math”! Tickets are $10.00 per person.

Sadie Hawkins Dance

Attention mothers and sons: your night has finally arrived! Irving Parks and Rec will be holding its inaugural Mother/Son Dance to honor the tradition of girls asking the boys to the dance. Just like the Father/Daughter event, attendees will enjoy a professional DJ, door prizes, dinner/refreshments, and photos. This event is for boys ages 4 through 13 and their mothers or mother figures. Tickets will be available at the door. Don’t forget to dress in your Sunday’s best! Tickets are $25.00 per couple; $10.00 per additional son.

Big Wheels

Trucks, trucks, trucks! Boy, do we love big trucks. We’re willing to bet that you’ve got little ones who love trucks as well. Get up close with some big trucks over at the Harrington Library this Friday for a great time! Enjoy a story or two and learn about the trucks you see in your neighborhood. Be sure to bring your camera, because this is sure to put a giant smile on your child’s face.
