Things To Do In Denver This Weekend, Aug 4th – 6th, 2017

THE MOLLY BROWN HOUSE MUSEUM

Don’t miss this! Denver museum tells real story of Molly Brown!

This weekend take time to see this historic treasure and enjoy awesome tour with great history and stories in 1340 Pennsylvania Street, Denver, Colorado 80203.

This is a very popular place! Museum do not take reservations so it is a good idea to go early in the day. All tours last approximately 45 minutes and generally start every 30 minutes, beginning on the hour and half hour. Museum tour tickets are available in the Carriage House Visitor’s Center. Tickets are sold in person on a first come, first serve basis.

This Saturday, Aug 5, 2017 first tour starts at 9:30 am and last tour starts at 3:30 pm.

Molly Brown was very involved in activism at the time and, of course, survived the sinking of The Titanic. Hers is a very engrossing story. Three floors of the house are seen on the tour, so be prepared to climb stairs, no elevator.

Purchase tickets in the carriage house in the back, which now houses a gift shop with many interesting items. Well worth a visit if you enjoy old houses and history!

On-street parking is available in one and two hour increments throughout the neighborhood. There are also pay lots in the neighborhood, the closest located at the SW corner of 13th Avenue and Logan Street one block west.
