The Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival


Don’t miss this and join the fun 48th annual Carnation Festival this weekend, August 11-13, 2017. Main events are held at Anderson Park, located at 4355 Field Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.

The festival will last for three days and you can enjoy it in many events like

Annual Art League Member Show

Carnival (Located at the south end of the Carnation Festival, the expanded carnival features kiddie rides, adult rides, midway games and yummy carnival treats including the famous funnel cakes!)

Chili Cookoff (Sign up for the chili cook-off and compete for the title of Carnation Festival Chili Champion – not to mention bragging rights! Public chili tasting on Saturday from noon-3:00pm. Tasting cost is $5.)

Fireworks (BOTH Nights at 9:15pm at the baseball field)

Main Stage

Spaghetti Dinner (The famous spaghetti dinner, served by the Wheat Ridge Fire Department takes place on both Friday and Saturday nights from 4:30-8:00pm in the food court.
Cost is $8 for adults & $5 for kids under 12.)

Student Art Auction

Zoppé Circus (Zoppé Family Circus… UNDER THE BIG TOP SINCE 1842. They are one of the old-fashioned, family-run, one ring circuses touring the the United States).

The Carnation Festival Parade takes place along West 38th Avenue between Depew and Upham streets, Saturday, Aug. 12, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Free.
