Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show

Get a taste of Vail, Colorado summer with the Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show. The Vail Farmers’ Market offers the finest quality of local fruits, vegetables, and meats. The Market opens at 10:00 am through 3:30 p.m. However locals are welcome to start shopping for produce at 9:30 a.m. to receive the best selection. The Vail Farmers’ Market also showcases local artisans selling unique and beautiful work. With more than 40 food vendors guests can sample the area’s best food and enjoy brunch, lunch, and wonderful snacks while shopping.  This event is free to attend.

Miners Day

Miners Day is one of Frederick’s premier annual community events drawing thousands of people to Downtown Frederick for family-oriented fun and entertainment throughout the day. While the event has grown in increasing popularity since its inception in 2003, it continues to offer a small-town feel in celebration of our community’s mining heritage and provides a rich and lively environment for residents, businesses, schools, and community groups from throughout the region to come together for a day of fun. The event includes a dynamic parade, exhibitor booths, food/refreshment vendors, car show, activities, contests, and live entertainment throughout the day. Per tradition, Miners Day concludes with a spectacular evening concert and fireworks display! Stop by the Miners Day beer garden to enjoy Echo Brewing Beer, Wild Cider and wine from the Infinite Monkey Theorem winery, based out of Denver. The beer garden is cash only and you must bring your ID to drink (no exceptions). The area is open to all ages, but only folks with an ID will be permitted to drink. This event is free to attend.

Young Eagles Flight Experience

Experience the thrill of flight! Join Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in partnership with EAA’s Young Eagles Program as we offer free flights to kids aged 8 through 17. Kids can experience their first flight with a registered and certified Colorado pilot at our Centennial Airport location. The purpose of Young Eagles and Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation. Please note – RSVP is required and a parent 18 years or older must accompany the child to Centennial Airport to sign all waiver documentation. Also, all Young Eagles Flight Experiences are also subject to weather conditions due to the lack of nearby shelter and/or volunteer availability. This event is free to attend.

Corn Maze

Get lost in this incredible 7-acre Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms. Also, enjoy the After Dark Corn Maze and Dead Zone Scream Park included with your tickets! This seven-acre maze can be viewed from two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges, and visitors under the age of 10 can explore the mini-maze. Tickets include one hayride, barrel train ride (for children 12 and under) and unlimited jumping on a giant pillow. Pony rides and hamster balls are available for an additional fee. An array of food vendors sell favorite fall foods such as funnel cakes, hot dogs, freshly squeezed lemonade and kettle corn. In an effort to reduce waste, printed maps will not be available at the mazes. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $6.00 for kids ages 3 through 12, and free for those under 3.

Broomfield Days

A day packed with activities, including a 5K race, a clown contest, a parade, a trade fair, a craft festival, food booths, three stages of entertainment, demonstrations, and great community spirit. Broomfield Days begin on Friday, September 15th, 2017 with a Golf tournament sponsored by Senior Resources of Broomfield and Bingo games sponsored by the Broomfield Lions Club. Saturday, September 16th, 2017 is the main event with activities and entertainment throughout the day including a 5K race, clown contest, parade, trade fair, craft festival, food booths, three stages of entertainment, demonstrations, and great community spirit. This is also an opportunity for local organizations and businesses to showcase their services and increase community exposure. This event is free to attend.
