Car, Motorcycle and Truck Show

Love anything with wheels? We’ve got the best little show this side of Texas for you! This showstopper event is sponsored by City Classic Cars and hosted by The North Houston Krewzer’s Club with all car show proceeds benefiting the Lone Survivor Foundation is a great time to mingle at the pub, meet the City Classic Cars team and network with other classic car lovers in Northwest Houston. Got something of your own that you’d like to show off? This show is open to all classic car makes and models, motorcycles and classic trucks. There’s a 1st and 2nd prize for every category and best of show pre-1985 and best of show post-1985. There will also be special prizes and gifts by City Classic Cars for all participants. “Hidden Figures” Movie Screening

Food Detectives

Isn’t it time that the kids learned to cook for you? Wishful thinking – we know. In this hand on 3-course class, kids will learn the basics of gardening, where their food comes from, and healthy eating at the Nature Discovery Center. These classes are for kids ages 7 to 10. The cost of the class is $10.00 and registration is required.

Texas Hot Sauce Festival

Get ready to break out a nice sweat at this celebration of everything picante. This fiery annual event heats up with hot sauces, salsas, dips, spices, marinades, wing sauces, and jams from all over the country. There are literally hundreds of hot and spicy products to try out from around the country.  There is also plenty of food and cold beverages, ongoing stage entertainment, a children’s area (including some free and some ‘pay as you go’ activities for the kids), retail vendors, arts and crafts, and pepper merchandise. Tickets are $10.00 and free for kids 12 and under. The festival benefits the Snowdrop Foundation, which raises money for pediatric cancer patients.
