Things To Do In New York This Weekend With Kids, Dec 8th – Dec 10th, 2017

Holiday Nostalgia Rides

Ride all the way back in time with your family on the vintage fleet of subway cars and buses. The tradition of placing the vintage R1-9 train cars and a selection of the vintage buses from decades past in regular service will continue once again. This is the best opportunity for your kids to experience the heritage of the transport system and travel through time all just at the cost of a MetroCard swipe. The special eight-car subway train of R1-9 cars from the 1930s is well arranged with rattan seats, ceiling fans, incandescent bulb lighting, drop-sash style windows, vintage roll signs, and original advertisements. Kids of all ages can enjoy this fun ride at the cost of one Metrocard Dip.

Ride happily at the NYC Bus, M42 Route, New York on Sunday, December 10th, 2017, the train runs throughout the weekend on the F line at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm and on the Q line at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 5:00 pm.
