The Music Man is CYT NYC’s 5th Anniversary full-scale musical production! Meredith Willson’s six-time-Tony-Award-winning musical comedy will present the audience with some of musical theater’s most iconic songs and a story filled with wit, warmth and good old-fashioned romance. More than 3500 patrons have enjoyed CYT performances which are fun for the whole family! It’s a day well spent with the entire family. A cast comprised of 55 students, of ages 8-18, from the Tri-State Area will have the whole town outwitted with this bold, brassy musical comedy. CYT shows comprise raffles, themed concessions and souvenirs all aim to create a wonderful family-friendly experience. Kids of all ages can enjoy here, the entry fee ranges from $22 to $30.

Eid al-Fitr is an important holiday celebrated by Muslims throughout the world. It is the celebration that marks the end of Ramadan. Kinding Sindaw Dance Ensemble rounds off the weekend with a performance and dance workshop. Explore musical melodies and rhythms as we work with drums from around the world! Teaching Artist Mustafa Ulmer leads an interactive musical experience. Little ones can also enjoy Arabic calligraphy workshop, learn about tools used by calligraphers and create your own unique art piece featuring Arabic calligraphy. Engage yourself in creating mosaic patterns as you learn about the variety of geometric shapes that make up traditional mosaic designs in Islamic art and architecture. Breaking the daily fast with dates is a Ramadan tradition. Learn about the health benefits of dates and create your own filled date using traditional spices and nuts. There are lots of activities and events to keep the kids engaged and entertained. The entry fee is $14 for kids and adults.

Cheer the pollinators and the Celebrate National Pollinators Week and the tiny creatures who enrich the gardens and put food on our dinner tables. Make butterfly habitat hats decorated with flowers and insects, learn some facts about pollinator-friendly plants and buy them, go on naturalist-led walks to see bees, bumble bees, butterflies, and beetles. Kids can enjoy at the butterfly block party with naturalists in the flower garden. In The Shop, you have a variety of plants perfect for attracting pollinators in your own garden. Kids of all ages can enjoy here. The entry fee is $35.
