Story time With Santa

Little ones will get an opportunity to sit and hear Santa tell a story and take a photo (one per family) with him afterward. During the first half of story time, the amazing real bearded Santa read the books. Santa will be books like The Night Before Christmas (Little Golden Book), The Berenstain Bears and the Joy of Giving and Llama Llama Jingle Bells. After finishing the books each family will have an opportunity to take a picture standing with Santa. A full resolution digital image is included in the price of storytime. Siblings are photographed together. Storytime is $45 for the first child and $15 for each additional sibling. The storytime is recommended for kids ages 6 and under. Spots will be limited, so hurry up.

Story time With Santa will be taking place at the Big Apple Portraits, 143 W 72nd St 2nd Floor, New York 10023 on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Lead Belly, Brooklyn! A Sensory Friendly Community Celebration

Join in for a Community Celebration of Lead Belly’s Legacy at Brooklyn Music School. This unique event will feature Dan Zanes, Claudia Eliaza, Pauline Jean performing a selection of Lead Belly songs with the students of the Brooklyn Music School. During this event participants will have an opportunity to participate in a music video with Dan Zanes for the song “Rock Island Line” from his most recent album: “Lead Belly, Baby!”. The rehearsals for and the event itself will also be filmed for a future documentary on the legacy of Lead Belly. The show will be sensory friendly. Tickets will cost $15 for adults, $10 for children and $5 for BMS Students.

Lead Belly, Brooklyn! A Sensory Friendly Community Celebration by Brooklyn Music School, 126 Saint Felix Street, Brooklyn, NY 11217 will be taking place on Friday, November 17th, 2017 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Puppetsburg Show

Puppetsburg is interactive puppet shows for the little audiences. Join in for a fresh new show each week. Puppetsburg is edgy “babytainment” for the new generation of parents. You and your kids will love the integration of cultural, educational, and language elements into each show. There will be a visit from celebrity puppet guests. To engage the munchkins and adults alike, each story is broken into activities like dancing, instruments, interaction with the artisanal handmade puppets, bubble time, and a new dress-up. Puppetsburg does hipster, tattooed puppet shows for kids of the age 0-3 and half-year-old ones. The show will cost $30 per day.
