If you’ve never had the pleasure of spending a little time over at the Idea Museum, then you’ve been missing out on some pretty cool stuff. This Friday, they’re hosting an awesome storytime session for ages 1 and up that’s sure to delight the eager minds of your little guys. This event is free with regular admission, which is $8.00 for ages 1 and up (and free to members).

Paint with a Pal

Enjoy the little things in life with your little ones during this Paint with a Pal program. This program is perfect for all ages, from 18 months to 80 years! This studio is open to the public for children and their important adult to spend special time together. The instructors provide support and instruction throughout several projects every time using countless materials, both conventional and not (spoiler alert: you can do a lot with shaving cream!). Use this space to explore your children’s interests in a natural, creative, and encouraging setting! This event is free to attend.

Mortimer’s Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze Opening Weekend

It’s time to get excited – Mortimer Farms is officially opening for the season! Get pumped up for the fall season with the farm as they celebrate this annual Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze starting this weekend. This huge festival’s centerpiece is a 15-acre Pumpkin Patch & 15-acre Corn Maze! Fun for the whole family includes “A-MAIZE-ing” attractions, games, farm activities, live entertainment, barn dance, and much more! Admission is $15.00 per person, 2 and under are free.

Video Game Olympics

Where are our gamers out there? Are you looking for a fun way to get exercise? Stop by the Halle Heart Children’s Museum and participate in the Video Game Olympics! Competitors will compete in three fun-filled games, Fruit Ninja, Kinect Sports, and Just Dance. The top scorer will prove that she or he is the champion of the Video Game Olympics. Prizes will be distributed to the top three competitors! This event is free to attend.

Queen Creek Feastival

Come on down this Friday evening for an impressive array of food trucks! Join us for 15 to 25 Food Trucks, Live Music and a Boutique Market full of local artists and crafters! They do provide seating but feel free to bring your own chairs, tables, and leashed pets – it’s like a giant tailgating party. The event is alcohol-free but there are countless local restaurants within walking distance of the event who are happy to serve you after you get your street food fix. Drive around and see what Downtown Queen Creek has to offer while you are in the area.
