Monster-Con

Monster-Con is back again, and we’re so thrilled to see all of the new, gruesome additions to this fan favorite horror fest! San Antonio’s Best Little Horror Convention is back again this weekend fifth consecutive year. With over 100 Vendors, two days of shopping, two days of guest speakers, a costume contest, and great food – you just can’t go wrong! This event is free to attend.

Native Plant Walk

Come see the amazing variety of local plant life at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens! Explore this amazing, eleven-acre Texas Native Trail with a Master Naturalist. This area has its own distinctive and diverse ecological region of Texas, varying in soil, plant life, topography, and weather. There are more than 250 plant species in collections that represent three ecosystems. This event included with general admission ($12.00 to $9.00). Members enjoy this program for free.

A Salute to Texas Quilt Show

We’re willing to bet that you’ve still got one of your grandma’s quilts tucked away in your closet or on display. The Greater San Antonio Quilt Guild presents a judged quilt show with over 300 quilts from traditional to modern with a Boutique, Raffle Quilt, over 40 vendors, a variety of live demonstrations, selections from the National 2016 Hoffman Challenge, student textile displays from University of Incarnate Word, and Door Prizes. Admission is $8.00 for adults, students are $6.00, and a 2 day pass is $15.00/$10.00 respectively.
