The Carver Community Cultural Center will be hosting an exploration of the cultural arts of China at 226 N. Hackberry San Antonio, TX, 78202 this Friday, June 16th, 2017 at 11:00 am.

In association with the Confucius Institute of UTSA, the Carver Community Cultural Center will be holding an exploration of the cultural arts of China. This experience will occur through the arts such as music, dance and martial arts. Performances will feature traditional Chinese dances supplemented by music played with traditional Chinese instruments. The instruments include items such as the dizi (flute) and the erhu (bowed string instrument) and Chinese Opera. Bring the whole family for a fulfilling learning experience! This experience is being hosted free of charge.

Open Day at the Farm


The Cibolo Farm is opening up their grounds for a wonderful learning experience at 140 City Park Rd Boerne, TX, 78006 this Saturday, June 17th, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The natural environment is a space which is often neglected in all of our busy lives. The Kid Club at the Farm is a time for both children and grown-ups alike to get outside and play together as a family. The Cibolo Nature Center and Farm will open their trails to explore, play games, or make crafts. This is a learning experience as well as a period of relaxation and recuperation for the whole family. While the event is being hosted free of charge, there is a suggested donation of $5 per family.

The game looks to be a heated affair as the San Antonio Missions are looking to cement their place to the top of the Minor League table. Bring your kids along for a day of spirited fun as they get the opportunity to see their Minor League heroes in action and possibly even get the chance to meet them. Don’t forget your sun cream because it looks like it’s going to be a hot day out at Wolff Stadium. Tickets to the see the San Antonio Missions start at $5 up to $12 depending on seating.
