The Museum of Ice Cream is a pop-up museum and ice cream show making a momentary home in DTLA until the Memorial Day. The Museum of Ice Cream will be loved by kids it is specially curated by a collective of ice cream obsessed designers, artists, and friends. The highlights of the museum include a swimmable rainbow ‘sprinkle’ pool, edible balloons, an immersive chocolate room, and a collaborative massive ice cream sundae. It’s an ice cream paradise little ones can swing on an ice cream sandwich made for two, ride a seesaw on an ice cream scooper, and loads more. Tickets are available online, sign up immediately before they are sold out. Street parking is available, or valet is $6. Ideal for kids of all ages. Price per ticket for adults $29; Kids (3-12) $18, free for kids under the age 3.

Opening Night at the Bowl with The Moody Blues

The 50th anniversary of The Moody Blues’ is launched at the Hollywood Bowl, an event not to be missed so get your tickets soon. The event features world-shattering album Days of Future Passed so come along with your kids to enjoy this mind- blasting performance. The event commences with fabulous fireworks which will amuse kids and please note the parking is limited. The Bowl-Parking is extremely limited and it can cost about $18 – $50. There are three other on-site parking lots to ensure your comfort. The lot Park & Ride allows you to park in your neighborhood and ride directly to the Bowl. It costs $7 for the round-trip when purchased in advance and it costs $12 when purchased at the lot. If you feel convenient to drive to the Bowl, then do try the Bowl Shuttle service. Drive to one of the close-to-the-Bowl shuttle lots, and from there you can get your seat. This costs $5 for the round-trip. The most exclusive parking at the bowl is the Donor Valet parking. Donors at the Bronze, Gold, and Platinum Valet levels will enjoy a posh service that is specially designed. Kids of the age 5 and up are welcome. The Price ranges between $25 and $190 for the Opening Night at the Bowl with The Moody Blues.

The OC’s ‘Summer of Mud’ Run is a challenge to win for kids and families. This race could get a little messy and grubby as this 5K course is designed with mud pits, rolling hills, and professionally built obstacles. The kids run is about 1/2 mile from the main starting line and finish line; there are a limited number of mud pits and obstacles so get ready for a slushy race. It is advisable that parents are present there to assist their kids and cheer them. Free entry for parents who may need to run alongside the kids. After the race, a party will be held that features live bands, tons of food and a beer garden. You must be 13 or older to participate in the adults run. The kids of the age 2 to 12, can participate in the Kids Mud Puddle Race. The charge for kids 2 to 12 is $25 and the Adult Run is $79 per person.
