Learn to harvest raw honey, the 5th Annual California Honey Harvest Festival will be an informational tour for your kids. You can reach the Bennett’s Honey Farm by a train ride as the event is held in conjunction to the historic Fillmore and Western Railway. A refurbished railway is being tucked away in the hills of Ventura County, which will make the ride a fun one for kids. At the farm, children can take a close look to see how honey is produced, and they can learn a lot with live demos by beekeepers. This year the festival aims to collect funds to support Autism Speaks, a non-profit organization that enables to spread awareness about autism. Ideal for kids of the age 3 and up. Tickets for adults are $24, for kids between 4 and 12 are $16, and for kids between 2 and 3 are $12.
