The 2017 Dia de los Muertos

Come along with kids to pay respect and cherish the memories of those who departed but still stay in our hearts. The annual Día de Los Muertos event at Los Angeles’s oldest memorial park celebrates the memories of some of the city’s most famous departed. Grand Ceremonial tributes and memorable altar creations have been planned throughout the grounds of the cemetery which will leave you in awe. This year’s theme is The Legacy of Posada – El Legado de Posada.  The entertainment factors includes music, dance, a traditional procession of skeletons, Aztec ritual dancers in full costume, musical performances by Grammy Award-winning recording artists, and a children’s arts project area. You can attend the event in the Day of the Dead attire to show your support. Kids of the age 6 and up are welcome. The admission cost is $20 per person and free for children ages 8 and under and seniors 65 and over. The free entry is only until 4:00 pm.

The 2017 Dia de los Muertos will take place at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90038 on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at 12.00 pm.
