10 Best Holiday Lights around Seattle you must see!

Seattle provides spectacles of light both on the water, in the gardens and on the streets. Try to make it to the various tree lighting ceremonies as they offer so much more than just lights viewing – there are plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied and they get a chance to see their favorite man of the moment – Santa.

Christmas ShipParade of Boats Night

About:  The brightly lit and prettily decorated boats will gather in Lake Union and begin their promenade westward through the Fremont Cut. You can choose to pay and watch from the lead or follow boats, join the parade on your own decorated vessel, or gather at the viewing party on shore for panoramic views of the flotilla. The Lead Boat is the official Christmas Ship™ and leads the fleet of boats. When the Christmas Ship™ arrives at the designated parks, the choir onboard sings a 20-minute concert that is broadcast to the surrounding boats and people onshore. Santa rides along to entertain, and a cruise director will guide you through the evening and contests to win great prizes. The Christmas Ship™ has a kids’ craft area available and snacks, chowder, and beverages for purchase, or you can also pre-order boxed meals. The Follow Boat is similar in offering although it cannot be guaranteed that Santa will be on board, and instead of a craft area kids get craft bags.
