Kids will be in their element on a visit to the Webb Ranch because it is not just about picking berries – they have horses, around 250 of them so you are advised to drive carefully on the way in to avoid scaring horses and riders. 6. Live Earth Farm

This is not so much a u pick but an educational day out for kids. The farm has an educational program going so if taking the kids try joining a 3-hour field trip that teaches nutrition, environmental literacy, and farming skills through hands-on, project-based lessons on the working farm. Groups are invited to bring along their picnic lunches to enjoy at the farm following the event. If you would like seasonal and local food, let them know so they can help you plan and source your picnic menu. As they have dogs on the farm they ask that you don’t bring yours.
