13 Kid-friendly bars in New York City

Let’s face it, dragging the kids along to a bar, where nothing happening is going to make them and their parents crazy, but if there are crafts or games they can play everyone can have a good time. It is best to go early – many bars don’t allow kids after 8 pm. And remember, they are not allowed to sit at the bar counter itself! If you want to do something different today, try these kid-friendly bars in New York City. Cheers!

1. Soda Bar

Cute spot just before the nap time. Back in the 1930, this place used to be one of the favorite ice-cream parlors of the city. Through the years it evolved to be a cozy bar where cheap beer on draft and exquisite pub food like burgers and fish & chips are waiting for you. Make that phone call and take a time off with your friends while still being with your kids, stroller-pushers are available. The vintage atmosphere of old posters, comfy couches, and a warm ambiance will be the perfect place to relax just before going to bed.

Location: the Soda Bar is located at 629 Vanderbilt Ave in Brooklyn. It is open from 12 pm to 2 am.
