Madagascar, the musical adventure is coming to town, as is Sleeping Beauty; then there is a psychic fair, a lock-in-skateboarding night for the kids while parents visit the Tequila and Tacos event, and great bands like Maroon 5 and Slightly Stoopid among other events. It’s going to be a scorcher of a month.
Hosted at the Institute of Texan Cultures, this three-day cultural extravaganza brings more than 40 ethnic groups together in one place to showcase their authentic food, traditional music and dance and authentic crafts. You’ll see Chinese lion dancers, listen to mariachi music, eat paella and pizza, tacos and enchiladas, drink some German beer, be able to buy First American crafts, and a whole lot more.
