Drought and fires have played a part in the reduced number of places open for corn mazes. However, we have managed to round up a number of places that have great corn mazes – and a few that have hay bale mazes instead – but it’s still a maze and fun to get lost… and found. The corn maze is just one aspect of the fall fun. A trip out to a farm means animals and lots of healthy outdoor activities to keep kids busy. The chances are they’ll fall asleep in the car on the way home afterward after all that fresh air! Just remember to call the farm beforehand to check the weather before you leave – if it’s too muddy the mazes won’t be open.
The big attractions at this farm are the live bands over weekends during the Fall Festival, the animal shows, and the various activities for the kids. They even have food trucks! The corn maze is open daily and like many of the activities is free with paid admission. Tractor-drawn rides are free and so are the animal shows, gourd tunnel, hay bale spiders, pumpkin house, pig racing, and a whole lot more. Certain games and rides need extra tickets like pitch a pumpkin, corn cannons, duck races and the cow train ride.
When: Open daily 9:00 am – 6:00 pm during Fall Festival from September 30th to October 31st.
Cost: Fall Festival admission $6.00 Monday-Friday, $15.00 the first two weekends (September 30, October 1, 7, 8) and $20.00 on the remaining weekends (October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29). Children under two years of age, free.
