This month in Boston runs heavy on boat and fishing festivals meaning opportunities to go aboard and to indulge in seafood. Then taking advantage of the last days of summer are wonderful outdoor music festivals, while indoors there are productions like Aladdin, Moulin Rouge and the Book of Mormon, and big names visiting for one-night concert are Jay-Z and Beyonce. Of course, kids can still enjoy fairs and festivals with lots of kids activities.
Green festival offers exhibits and workshops to help you learn about the green lifestyle, vendors, and entertainment on three stages. Performances lined up include Grupo Fantasia, a Latin band, Evolution Dance Studio with classical ballet, talented guitarist and flautist Ed Koban, Kalifa and Koliba with high spirited international dance music with its roots in West Africa, 3nity an all female band with a fusion of American, African and Latin styles, and Brite Lite Brite with live electronic dance music.
