It’s show time more than festival time in Houston as the best shows and entertainers come into town on tour this month to rev up the excitement a few notches and leave you feeling elated.
About: Just in time for the holiday season, this magical, funny, and moving tale of what it means to love and be human will enchant the entire family. Based on the classic fairy tale, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast tells the story of an arrogant prince who is transformed into a hideous beast. Placed under this spell by an enchantress, he must find a way to get the beautiful, bright, Belle to love him before it is too late and he is doomed to stay a beast forever.

About: This German-style festival has four music stages, around 200 street vendors, ethnic and festival food, beer, and wine. Adding to the fun will be street performers doing tricks, playing music and even Santa will be visiting along with Ghillie the Elf. A petting zoo and plenty of Christmas ornaments, arts and crafts, antiques and a heritage centre round out the offerings at this event. Polka bands, traditional dance groups and bluegrass music bands are all lined up for the three-day event. And, no you do not have to be German to attend – everyone is welcome!
