Music, dance, dragon boat racing, fun at the fair, and top entertainers will make 2018 a summer to remember.
Held on Saturdays and Sundays through August, the Fair enables families to experience what life might have been like on fair day in a medieval village. There will be vendors and entertainers roaming around, ready to pull pennies out of kids’ ears and perform other magic tricks, puppet shows and stilt walkers, acrobats, troubadours and jesters, swashbuckling pirates, and you may even meet Robin Hood and his Merry Men. The fare is typical olde English – pies and mash, as well as other savory and sweet treats. The event of the day is the jousting, with knights or horseback – be sure to cheer on your favorite in this exciting event. The marketplace will have artisans with unique wares and you can watch blacksmiths, leatherworkers, potters, and other craftsmen in action.
When: August 4 to Aug 31 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Cost: $20 per adult and $10 per child aged 5-12, children 4 and under free.
