New York goes all out on summer festivals. There are the world famous Fourth of July fireworks displays, and various cultural festivals – take your pick from African, French, Native American, Latin and Jamaican. Let’s not forget summer time is dance time and there will be music to get people moving on the dance floors and in the streets. New York is surrounded by bodies of water so there are opportunities to water sports and cruises and let’s not forget the food – with a melting pot of cultures a person can munch through the delicious eats from the cuisines of the world at the festivals this month.
Midsummer Night Swing – come down for a lesson in swing, salsa and tango then get your body moving as you and the kids experience the joy of dance.
