Boston is pretty short of restaurants themed especially for kids – unfortunately, Rainforest Café has closed as have a number of other restaurants that families found their kids enjoyed. We have managed to round up a number of restaurants that are themed according to the food they serve from Polish to Chinese, Spanish to Mexican to keep kids interested, some that have play areas for the kids and some that create an occasion out of the actual food preparation…. Enjoy.
If you want the kids to be intrigued by the atmosphere of a country residence in Poland then take them to Café Polonia where you’ll find the wood paneled walls decorated with traditional décor and embroidered examples of the national dress. Located in the Polish Triangle, featured on Food Network on Boston’s Top 7 Eateries serves traditional food like potato pancakes, pierogi, kielbasa and other comfort food and was. Pop in for some hot mulled wine on these chilly fall nights and try the Polish Plate at $16 to share where you have Hunter’s stew, stuffed cabbage, three pierogies, and grilled Polish sausage kielbasa as a try out to see what the kids like.
