This should be your number one choice for a rainy day. There are airplane exhibits, spacecraft and rocketry exhibits, a flight simulator, events and on 01 May, the extraordinary ‘DaVinci Machines’ is being unveiled and opened. The museum offers guided group tours or you can wander around on your own. There are some extraordinary interactive experiences too, for both kids and adults. The museum is in Hangar 1 of the former Lowry Air Force Base and the idea of the museum is to inspire and educate people on air and space endeavors, and to inspire! There is a fabulous learning center, a Wings Aerospace Academy and you’ll need to check the website for talks and lectures.
